From the oldest vintages to the most recent, Château Preuillac reveals the unique characteristics of its various terroirs: the gravel provides freshness, density, and structure, while the sand combined with fine gravel over deep limestone brings concentration, balance, and finesse.

30 hectares in a single block, with an average vine age of 43 years

Sandy and sandy-gravelly soils, clay-limestone

GRAPE VARIETIES
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot

WINEMAKING

Vinification in temperature-controlled wooden vats. Gentle mixed extraction through punching down and pumping over. Malolactic fermentation in wooden vats

AGEING

12 months in French oak barrels
